Forse non tutti sanno che Google da qualche mese ha rilasciato le SDK per sviluppare applicazioni per la piattaforma open source basata su GNU/Linux che da qui a poco tempo probabilmente cambierà un pò il mondo dei sistemi operativi per dispositivi mobile.

Poi per di più Google ha ben pensato di fare un concorso in modo da invogliare maggiormente gli sviluppatori nel creare buone applicazioni per Android, mettendo in palio diversi soldi in tutto 10 milioni di dollari in premi che andranno spartite fra le migliori 50 proposte.
La cosa più buffa è che andando a guardare Terms&Condition oggi scopro che l’Italia è fuori dal concorso :
“4. ELIGIBILITY: The Challenge is open to (i) individuals, teams of individuals, and business entities (each individual, each individual member of a team, and each entity is referred to as a “Participant” in these Terms) worldwide, except as set forth below, (ii) who have agreed to these Terms (as described in Section 3) and (iii) who are of the legal age of majority, at the time of entry, to form valid contracts in their respective country, province or state of legal residence and meet any applicable U.S., national, state, local, or provincial legal requirements for participation. The Challenge is void in, and not open to residents of, Cuba, Iran, Syria, North Korea, Sudan, Myanmar, or to individuals and entities restricted by U.S. export controls and sanctions, and is void in any other nation, state, or province where prohibited or restricted by U.S. or local law. In addition, the Challenge is void in, and not open to residents of, Italy and the Quebec Province of Canada. Employees of (i) Google, (ii) members of the Open Handset Alliance, (iii) the parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries of either Google or any member of the Open Handset Alliance, and members of their immediate families (defined as parents, children, siblings and spouse, regardless of where they reside and/or those living in the same household of each) are not eligible to participate in the Challenge.”
The Challenge is void in, AND NOT OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF ITALY….
Quindi ragazzi niente…”Il problema è che le norme italiane ci avrebbero obbligato a lungaggini - fanno sapere da Google - e non avremmo potuto far partire il concorso nei tempi previsti”. Mi dispiace..Svilupperemo a Gratis allora
